What the movie JUANITA taught me about traveling the world slowly starting with $1200 a month

In the movie, Juanita looked on the map and pointed to her next destination. I said to myself, that is what I want to do, except I wanted a world map.

Retirement was supposed to be a new beginning full of excitement and new things, and when I first retired, moved to Mexico, and took up residency overlooking the Bay of Banderas, it was exciting.

I was living my dream, overlooking the sea and learning to write.

I wrote children’s books to supplement my income creating over and above my basic retirement income.

This was before Amazon changed the way authors were paid. We used to make more when lending a book, then from selling the book.

I learned to write fiction and published my first political thriller series. I have since rewritten and republished the book from a five-series book to a two-series book. Hiring a professional editor was my most expensive task and the most successful move. Book II has the entire series.
