I needed to know exactly what the cheapest and safest countries for retirement are, including factors such as weather, access, cost of living and of course safety for Americans.

I don’t mind telling you, that I am tired of hearing about Portugal. And based on the news coming out of Portugal, they are clamping down on digital nomads and US retirees.

When the research pointed me to five countries, none of which are Portugal, I was more than happy to learn more. Except for one country.

The AI insisted that:

  1. India
  2. Bolivia
  3. Vietnam
  4. And Egypt are the cheapest, safest countries to retire, with great access to international destinations, good weather and excellent healthcare.

I could live with this information. In fact, as I write this article, a video is being created to share with over 3,500 subscribers on YouTube.

It was the fifth country that could not be included in the video. Guess which country it is?

Ukraine.
