I am a retired ex-pat living and traveling around the world, slowly.

Why slowly?

Because it takes me five or six months to get to know a new location, plus it gives you five or six months to save for your next travel destination. Travel destinations are determined by your overall travel plans, airfare seats on sale and time of the year. This article will show you how digital nomads, ex-pats, myself and long-term travelers travel the world on a budget.

It should be noted many digital nomads earn in excess of $7K a month. Their travel habits are different then those of us on a smaller budget.

Now finally after approximately 8 years of being in Mexico with trips twice a year back to the United States, before the pandemic, I am ready to move on to another entirely different country.
