US taxpayers are taxed on their worldwide income, regardless of where you live or travel.

In Acapulco, people sit in chairs on the beach. Wonderful lifestyle.

This article will share how digital nomads, long-term travelers, active ex-pats and retirees can reduce their taxes just by sharing their experiences.

I am a registered tax professional with the IRS since the 1999/2000 tax season. Taxes was my fourth career choice and the self-employment I chose before retiring. I wanted to be able to prepare taxes and supplement my retirement income.

I had a successful one-person tax service, TaxesWillTravel.com in the San Francisco Bay Area. I explained to my tax clients that I would be retiring early and moving to Mexico.

As it turns out, few of my tax clients believed that I would sell everything, pack up and leave the country. Unfortunately, they did not know me very well, because that is exactly what I did.

About a dozen of them stuck with me and I prepared their taxes while living in the apartment overlooking the Banderas Bay in a small fishing village seven miles outside of Puerto Vallarta.
