This is an example of the type of accommodations available in Ecuador. I do not receive affiliate income from you booking or looking. I share so that you feel more comfortable with offshore option decisions for retirement. However, if you were to decide to rent your property on Airbnb, I would receive a small remittance.

The United States has become overwhelmingly more expensive, and many future retirees are not sure what to do. I experienced this problem, and decided early on, to move south of the border.

As Mexico has become more and more expensive, especially the area where I first retired to, Puerto Vallarta, I moved further south to Acapulco. Although beautiful, there are plenty of Europeans who are now driving up the prices in Acapulco as well.

That’s when I decided to continue to move further south. But first I stopped in the Dominican Republic for one year. See one of my other articles: Mexico Getting Too Expensive?

This rental I want to share with you is an example of accommodations in Ecuador. A one bedroom with a half bath, Located in Salinas, Provincia de Santa Elena, a bungalow across from the beach. The unit has two floors and is located next to Hotel Salinas Beach and across the street from Hotel Marvento II.
